Finally!!! The Long Wait Has Ended!!! The N3DS Has Finally Arrived!!!!

People, the long wait has ended. Nintendo finally released the new Nintendo 3DS to the Western Market this past Sunday March 27, 2011!!!
It is so great that Nintendo of America made official that in its first day, the 3DS already was the most selled Nintendo console on its release date! They will not publish the numbers until April 14 because they want to publish the sales number foer its first week. In Japan (God HELP THEM!!!) in its first hours, it sold over 400,000 consoles!!!

CHARACTERISTICS
-It has the ability to produce 3D effects without the need of special glasses.
-You can play Nintendo DS games in it.
-It is compatible with the Nintendo DS's and DSi's software.
-Its price right now is of $250.00
-It weighs 230 grams (about 8 ounces).
-It has three cameras: one 2D on the fron, and TWO 3D cameras on the back. :D
-It has the same buttons of the DS, but also it has new ones (Cicle Pad, 3-axis acceloremeter, 3-axis gyroscope, 3D depth slider, Wireless communications switch).
-About the 3D depth slider, if you don't like 3D or it gives you problems, with this you can adjust the 3D effect, even leaving it in 2D!!!
-It has a 2GB memory inside it.
-Its battery lasts between 3-5 hours.
-It comes with pre-loaded applications, like a Mii creator, which can connect with the Wii's Mii Channel.

HEALTH RISKS!!!!
Nintendo has publicly stated that the 3D mode of the 3DS is not intended for use by children ages six and younger, citing possible harm to their vision. Nintendo suggests that younger players use the device's 2D mode instead, although the American Optometric Association has assured parents that 3D gaming in moderation would not be harmful for children. Nintendo has stated that a parental control involving a PIN will allow parents to disable autostereoscopic effects. Don't worry!!! It is still really awesome to play in 2D, and it is for your own health!.

Overview of Underworld Members Decks.

Okay people all around the world and Iceland, I thought that since we seemed to have been talking so much about Yu-gi-oh lately I would do a quick overview of the playing style and decks of each of the different members of the Underworld group so that you can understand just how tournaments are at our school. I will also be including the profiles of some other people in these since doing it about 3 or 4 isnt that much of a challenge.

Perez- He plays a mixture deck, he has gathered completely different cards to make up a deck so he doesnt have a certain archetype in which he belongs. However he does seem to have some cards from Starter Deck Pegasus and Starter Deck Joey. His favorite monster to play is of course his Relinquished although he had forgotten at first how rituals worked trying to special summon the monster right out of the deck using just the ritual...His best combo is quiet amazing actually since its using Giant Trunade-Dark Hole-Card Destruction to eliminate basically all your strategy on the spot, although he has only been able to pull it off once.

His main problem at duelist is that he learned to play with the original anime so he ignores a lot of the recent rules(hes never seen a synchro) and as such makes mistakes often. He also insists that he uses decks consisting of 30 monsters, 30 spells and 30 traps...RESULTS= FAILURE!!!! He would be a pretty good player if he read the rules and learned to make decks with little over 40 cards.

Judini/Ricardo/Platypus- He plays a mixture of the structure deck Invincible Fortress and a bundle of cards that I lent him so that he could manage a halfway decent deck. His most played card is the Swords of Revealing Light, something that has become annoying to many people who play with us. His best combo is summoning Exodd, Master of the Guard and then using Shield and Sword to attack, however if you dont win with this combo youre in deep trouble since youll have a monster with 0 attack on the field.

He isnt a bad player actually, he just needs to get some new cards that match his deck so that he is able to be on even terms with the rest of us.

Anette- She plays a nasty anti-cure deck, know that term? It means that her deck adds to your life points. Sounds great doesnt it? That is, until she plays Bad Reaction to Simochi which means that instead of adding to your life points the healing cards actually damage you. She has quiet some potential on her, with a few more copies of Simochi and enemy-healing cards such as Rain of Mercy, Upstart Goblin and Snatch Steal it would be horribly hard to beat her.

Wilson- Another person that plays with a complete mixture of cards from different packs, structure decks and starter decks. Youd be surprised what you can find in his deck ranging from the XYZ-Dragon Cannon to a Flame Manipulator or a Counterfeit Dark Paladin. He is still missing some playing experience but he could win many more duels with practice.

Oscar Chow/Show/Pikachow- He plays a guardian deck, although lots of his cards are false or in chinese(Seriously...WTF??) theyre quiet good cards if you allow them to be used. The main downside of his game is that he has an ego larger than his history of failed soccer goals(Multiply all failed goals in FIFA history by 100) and as such he is always saying that he will be able to beat us all albeit he has never played some of us. Imagine being on social service working thinking on your own things and then him just startling you yelling "I challenge you to a duel!!"(Another time...WTF??) when he very well knows that you dont have any cards with you.

He is not bad at all playing, he was able to defeat Ricardo and Perez on a Battle Royale completely flawless without them touching him, if he didnt believe himself such a good player he would be great to play with. I guess that one of these days Ill let him duel me so that I can smash some hot air out of his head.

Last but certainly not least its me, Danny-Well I wont review my true deck since I am saving it as a surprise for some seriously sweet dueling(Kudos to all of you that noticed this was a Jaden phrase) we are going to have next week but I will review the deck I used back when we started the tournaments, which is now part of my brothers deck.

I played a water-monster deck, cards from Fury from the Deep structure deck, but combined with some batterymans to use Short Circuit and many traps to guard my monsters. Its quiet a good deck although I have to admit it cannot barely compare to the one I have right now.

Coming soon probably for next week I will be playing an Ancient Gear deck, I bought Machine Revolt structure deck so Ill probably be using that as a start on next week tournaments. After the tournaments I will be revealing which is my real deck but also by that time the score board will be very much changed.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duels 2

People bad news!!!!! Thanks to two people from our school, our Social Studies teacher prohibited our Yu-Gi-Oh! Weekly Tournaments in his class!!!! Only one of them, Crhistian (yup, that's how his parents spelled it when they inscribed him in the National Registry Office of Honduras (RNP) and he swears that they weren't drunk :P ), is now our public enemy!!!! So we could only play two One-on-One duels, both of them between Anette and Ricardo a.k.a "Judini" (after the magician HOUDINI, because he disappeared a lot when we were on 5th grade) . So while we find another place on our school where to play our tournaments, here is the Table for this week (March 21-25):

Venom: Spidey's Archenemy!!!!

Venom is this badass alien from Marvel's world. He is a really dangerous and powerful enemy of Spider-Man, but he is so popular eventhough he is a villian, that he has been the protagonist of his own comic book series!!! :O   Venom was ranked as the 22nd Greatest Comic Book Villain of All Time in IGN's list of the top 100 comic villains, 33rd on Empire's 50 Greatest Comic Book Characters, and was ranked as the 98th Greatest Comic Book Character Ever in Wizard magazine's 200 Greatest Comic Book Characters of all Time list.
He first appeared on THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #252, where he had his first fight with Spidey and took Spidey as his host. After they got separated, he invaded Eddie Brock. His "family" includes Carnage and Toxin.
Venom has been adapted to different media such as comics, animated TV series, video games and movies. Its origin and history has been changed according to circumstances and the tastes of different audiences, but the fact that he is truly a symbiont never changes, usually of extraterrestrial origin and that he shares with Spider-Man many of his powers and abilities (like adhering to almost any surface, generate webs, great strength and agility, etc.) and even his appearance due to thebond that they had in the past. His appearance is very similar to that of Spider-Man wearing his blue suit and black with a picture of a white spider on the trunk. The main differences are that Venom is far more muscular, he is more aggressive and violent, and his mouth, which often is drooling and covered with sharp teeth that often stand between a long tongue. He is considered the twisted part of Spiderman. Originally he was presented as a solitary creature, "mute" and eager for a person to join him and thus survive, which has changed recently, appearing mainly as a being with will and also oppressive and that can talk with itself. It is important to know that he does not have a name, Venom is just a nickname with which he is known on Earth after his arrival.

HOSTS!!!!
- Eddie Brock   - Angelo Fortunato    - Mac Gargan     - Eugene "Flash" Thompson

OTHER VERSIONS!!!!
- Ultimate Venom   - Venom 2099   - Venom MC2

MOVIE!!!! :D
It was mentioned that Marvel and Sony are working on a Venom ovie :D. Its release would be in 2012 and has as screenwriters Rhett Reese (Monsters Inc, Zombieland) and Paul Wernick (Zombieland). Spider-Man will guest star in the movie and Topher Grace was rumored that could enbody Eddie Brock/Venom again.  :D

FEMALE VENOM??!!!
Yup, there have been three "female" Venoms:
- Ann Weying     - Patricia Robertson   - Susan Richards (yes, the chick from Fantastic Four)

ANN WEYING was Eddie's ex-wife, she died.
PATRICIA ROBERTSON an army chick that got infected near the North Pole.
SUSAN RICHARDS she got possesed by Venom a little after Spidey released himself from Venom. Spidey helped her to destroy their bond.

This is Ann Weying as Venom (were the big boobs necessary? )

InuYasha: My Favorite Animé From All Times!!!!! (Pérez's)

PLOT!!!

The story begins in feudal Japan with InuYasha, a very awesome hanyō with long silver hair, dog ears and wears a robe woven from the fur of the fire rat (he is half human and half dog demon. When he was a child, humans would often tease and make fun of him for being a halfling. This is one of the reasons why he wanted to steal the Jewel of Four Souls, to use it to become a full-fledged demon), that eventually retrieves a sword called Tetsusaiga, which has extreme amounts of power (The Tetsusaiga can slay 100 demons in one sweep), stealing the Jewel of Four Souls that is a jewel that can increase anyone's powers enormously, from a village. He doesn't get far before Kikyo, Inu Yasha's ex D:, shoots him with a sacred arrow, sealing him forever to the Sacred Tree . Before dying from mortal wounds, Kikyo tells her younger sister, Kaede, to burn the jewel with her remains to keep it from falling into the wrong hands.
What really happened was that orginally in the past, InuYasha wanted to steal the jewel to become a full fledged demon. He kept failing every time. He and Kikyo eventually became a couple, despite their differences, and felt like they could trust each other. However, there is another demon named Naraku who wants the jewel for himself and has a really strange costume. And in an attempt to get it, he tricked InuYasha and Kikyo into thinking that they betrayed each other >:/. In a rage, InuYasha attacks the village to steal the jewel, but he is sealed to a tree by Kikyo's sacred arrow while trying to escape with the jewel.
In modern Tokyo, a junior high-school girl named Aome Higurashi is on her way to school. She stops in the well house of her family Shinto shrine to retrieve her cat, Buyo, and a centipede demon bursts forth and pulls her into the well. Aome miraculously fends off the demon and emerges from the well in the Sengoku period of Japan. She eventually finds InuYasha who is still pinned down to the tree by the arrow, in some sort of eternal sleep.(The tree is enchanted. As long as one is touching it, they do not age. Inuyasha was put under a spell, but on the tree. And remained there for 50 years.) The centipede demon eventually returns and in a panic to be saved, Aome frees InuYasha from the tree, and Inuyasha destroys the demon with his brute strength. When the centipede demon bit into Aome's stomach the Jewel of Four Souls was revealed to be inside of her (how did it get there?).
It also eventually revealed that Aome is Kikyo's reincarnation. This explains why she had the Jewel inside of her and why she was able to free InuYasha (ahh!!! That's why she had it in her stomach....). She also has the power to sense where the Jewel is if hidden, including shards of the Jewel.
With the help of Kikyo's sister, Kaede & Aome place the "Beads of Subjugation" (InuYasha's necklace) on InuYasha. With the command of "Sit, boy!" from Aome, InuYasha is rendered powerless, thus helping Aome keep InuYasha from the Sacred Jewel.
Determined to return home but yet also given the task to protect the Jewel, Aome protects the whole Jewel from InuYasha without fail. Unfortunately, a crow demon found its way to the jewel and ate it, gaining supernatural powers. In pursuit to retrieve it, the demon crow loses a foot. Aome ties the foot to an arrow (since the crow's body parts try to return to the main body each time it is severed) and shoots it at the demon crow. The tip of the arrow shatters the Jewel and the flying shards scatter all over Japan (isn't it kinda exaggerated?).
Aome and InuYasha set out to collect the shards of the Jewel of Four Souls and restore it. Along the way they befriend Shippo, a fox demon, Miroku, a monk who would kick everyone's ass if it wasn't because of those annoying giant bees, and Sango, a demon-slayer. The group often encounter InuYasha's brother Sesshomaru, Naraku (who tricked Kikyo and Inu Yasha into turning against each other), and Koga, a wolf demon who's in love with Aome.

MAIN CHARACTERS!!!!
-InuYasha -Aome Higurashi - Kikyo - Shippo - Miroku :D - Sango - Sesshomaru - Naraku - Koga

Higurashi Kagome is called "Aome" in Spanish, because the name Kagome sounds like an offensive pun in Spanish. Especially Latin Spanish. Kagome sounds like Cago-me, where "cago" means shit (example: "Me cago en vos" literally means: "I shit on you" (at least in the Honduras's Spanish)).

Kirby's Epic Yarn

Kirby's Epic Yarn, is the tenth platform installment of the Kirby video game series. It was developed for the Wii video game console by Good-Feel and HAL Laboratory, and published by Nintendo.
It was officially unveiled at E3 2010. It is the first entry in the Kirby series on a home console since 2003's Kirby Air Ride and its first home console platform game since 2000's Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards.

Gameplay

The game is played with the Wii Remote held sideways. Differing from other games in the Kirby series, Kirby's usual ability to copy enemies by swallowing them has been removed. He instead uses a whip-like ability to attack enemies, while he can also capture the enemies and turn them into a ball of yarn (which can then be thrown by Kirby). He also no longer floats in the air by holding his breath like in previous games, instead gliding in the form of a parachute. Kirby can also transform into a car for extra speed, a dolphin for underwater travel, among other things.
Each level has three secret treasure chests for Kirby to find (similar to Kirby: Squeak Squad); also, colored beads are scattered throughout every level, which Kirby can collect to increase the score at the end of the level, which earns medals. The treasure chests and medals can unlock extra levels, which could provide greater challenges. Kirby does not have health or extra lives, but will lose some of his beads upon damage or falling into bottomless pits. These beads can be spent in an in-game shop to purchase furniture and wallpapers, which can then be used to customize Kirby's living space. Occasionally, other characters will show up in Kirby's living space and set him challenges, such as time trials and collecting all the beads in a level. Two-player co-op is possible at any point in the game; the second player can play as Prince Fluff, who plays identically to Kirby.

Graphics

The game features graphics rendered in a unique knitted design based on animated yarn and a world of cloth and textiles. The game works its graphics style into the gameplay through creating interaction between the game and its graphical style, such as allowing Kirby to pull on buttons, stray threads and zips and spin balls of yarn to reveal hidden areas or alter the shape of the terrain.

Plot

While walking through Dream Land, Kirby discovers a tomato and decides to eat it. Yin-Yarn, the evil sorceror who possessed the tomato (revealed to be a Metamato), appears and magically banishes Kirby into Patch Land, a world completely made of fabric, via the sock carried around his neck. In Patch Land, Kirby's body transforms into yarn, rendering his power to inhale useless. Instead, Kirby is granted the ability to transform by the magic of the Metamato, which he uses to rescue a boy being attacked by a monster. The boy, named Prince Fluff, explains that Yin-Yarn has separated Patch Land into pieces, which was tied together by magic yarn. Kirby decides to help Prince Fluff collect all seven pieces of the yarn and restore Patch Land.
Meanwhile, Yin-Yarn captures King Dedede and Meta Knight and places them under his control. Kirby is forced to fight Dedede and Meta Knight after they ambush him in Patch Land. When Kirby and Prince Fluff finally collect all the Magic Yarn, Meta Knight, no longer under the sorceror's influence, informs Kirby that Yin-Yarn is turning Dream Land into fabric. Prince Fluff produces the second sock, its magic fully restored, and uses it to transport Kirby and himself into Dream Land. Kirby defeats Yin-Yarn, breaking the spell and returning Dream Land and himself back to normal. Prince Fluff parts with Kirby, stating that he can visit Patch Land anytime via Yin-Yarn's magic sock.

Development

Kirby's Epic Yarn was officially revealed at Nintendo's press conference at E3 2010, where it was announced to be released during the autumn that year. It is the third game to be developed by Good-Feel for Nintendo, after Wario Land: Shake It! and Looksley's Line Up. The idea of a "world of yarn" was proposed by Madoka Yamauchi, the Planning Section Manager of Good-Feel, and ideas for the game mechanics grew after the staff experimented with store-bought cloth. The game began development under the name "Keito no Fluff" (lit. "Fluff of Yarn"), featuring Prince Fluff as the main character. During the summer of 2009, Nintendo proposed that the game be altered and released as a title in the Kirby series, though Prince Fluff remains in the final product as Kirby's partner. At least three months were spent focusing on Kirby's movements and character design. To create an "authentic feel" for the cloth and textiles, the graphics were created by using digital photographs of fabric, which were placed under polygons. The game's soundtrack was scored by Good-Feel's Tomoya Tomita and HAL Laboratory's Jun Ishikawa and Hirokazu Ando, who worked on previous Kirby games.

I really like this game mostly because of the great gameplay it has. The only problem, it is to easy to finish the game, but that doesn't makes it less fun!!!

Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)

History

Hal Jordan is the most well-known Green Lantern. He was the first human ever inducted into the Green Lantern Corps, and has been heralded as possibly the greatest Green Lantern of all time. Green Lantern is also a founding member of the Justice League of America. Hal has also been known as Parallax and the Spectre.

Origins

Hal Jordan was born in Coast City on February the 20th, to parents Martin Jordan and Jessica Jordan, the middle of three children with older brother Jack and a younger brother Jim. As a young child, he idolized his father, a test pilot who worked for Ferris Aircraft. At a very young age, he had to face his greatest fears when his father died in a plane crash. Despite his family's wishes, he followed in his father's footsteps and eventually joined the United States Air Force as soon as he was eligible.
Many years later, a dying alien named Abin Sur who had been a member of the Green Lantern Corps crash-landed his ship in the Californian desert. Selecting a replacement officer for his position, the power ring chose Hal Jordan for his ability to overcome great fear. The ring and its abilities were explained to him, and he inherited the mantle of Green Lantern. Acting as a galactic police officer, it was his job to serve and protect all life in Sector 2814. He would soon learn that there were another 3600 Green Lanterns across the universe, all monitored and empowered by mystical creatures called the Guardians. Hal received training from some of the best the Corps had to offer, including drill sergeant Kilowog, and his mentor Sinestro. While training, he learned that Sinestro has been subjugating his home planet, Korugar with his ring, through fear. He reported these acts to the Guardians and to his own fellow Corps about this. He then battled Sinestro, and was victorious, and then, along with the rest of the Corps, testified against him at his trial. Sinestro was expelled from the Corps and banished to the Antimatter Universe by the Guardians as punishment, finally becoming a sworn enemy of the Corps and then got a new Qward power ring, beginning his revenge.
As Green Lantern, he patrolled the galaxy and went on many missions in space. He continued to spend his time at home working at Ferris Aircraft, where he romantically pursued his boss, the lovely Carol Ferris. He would entrust his secrets to a young eskimo lad who worked as his mechanic, Tom Kalmaku.

Powers and Abilities

Abilities

Hal posseses no superhuman powers, but with his Green Lantern Ring , he can do many things that a normal human cannot like fly, create solid light constructs, forcefields, and anything the ring and his imagination will allow him to do.
  • Indomitable Will
  • Green Lantern Ring Mastery: Jordan's constructs are among the most powerful. When he creates them, one often witnesses an "afterburner" behind Jordan of all his stray thoughts unconnected to the job at hand.
  • Skilled Boxer
  • Expert Pilot

    Strength level

Class 100+; while using constructs created by the ring Hal is effectively able to lift/move tremendous weights far heavier than 100 tons with little effort Without the ring Hal possesses the strength of a man his age, height and build who engages in regular exercise making him capable of press lifting at least his own weight.

OATH!!!: "In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might, beware my power... Green Lantern's light!"

Fanfics!

FANFICTIONS

Fanfictions or fanfics for short as they are sometimes popularly called are one of the goodness that animes, cartoons and basically anything offers to us. Theyre fan-made stories involving characters from series, almost all series have at least one fanfiction made about them, we just borrow characters we dont own them so dont forget to put in that important disclaimer before writing you own =D.

There are dedicated writers who take it upon themselves to create fanfictions by request, you can find them in such places as Quizilla although I am told that the terrible Twilight sickness has spread too much into it and their fanfiction skills really suck now. But like seen in the banner above the site I like the most for reading fanfiction is of course Fanfiction.net, it has the largest collection, most user-friendly searcher and most subjects that there are. Some people say that its not that good because almost all of its fanfics are pairings Character x Character but I think that those fanfics are very good in my opinion.

Well I dont consider myself a very romantic person in my opinion but still I have to say that I like very much some of the romantic stories that can be read in fanfiction.net. Some of them are very touching or fun to read and always worth the while youll spend reading them and then begging for more chapters.

I also write fanfics sometimes...but very rarely...only when I feel like it. For example now I am writing a fanfic about Yu-Gi-Oh! GX pairing Jaden x Blair which is taking me quiet long since I have to design the duels first of all and then integrate them into the story.

I hope to be able to post this fanfic once I finish them unto this blog so all of you my visitors can read it!

My Latest Obsession: Yu-Gi-Oh!

Okay I think its about time that I finally made a post about a Trading Card Game, after all its one of the main things that Underworld is composed off, but leaving that aside its more importantly my latest obsession, thanks to my cousin, who took me to the regional tourney, my addiction to the game(Which started since I was in 4th Grade) returned to me. Now before starting the review I have to say to those that believe that this game is childish...I can bet you anything that the players are much better at arithmetic than you and the fact that most of the people who play this game are 17 and above, its a game basically for all ages.

I dont believe that I have to explain how the game works by itself since most of you have at least seen this game played. For a brief summary the duel starts with a set amount of life points ranging from 2000 to 8000 depending on which one you want, each player holds his/her deck consisting of 40 cards at least, the game is about beating your opponent by either the use of strategy using your cards as combo or just crushing your opponent with plain attack power, the decks of everyone are pretty personal and the form of playing is also unique among duelists. What kind of deck do I use you ask? Well I use the Cyber Dragon deck! My strategy is forming monsters with 6000 or more Attack Points to end in a single attack, I consider myself an average-level player, I know that against some people I couldnt stand a chance but that doesnt matter, dueling is for the enjoyment of the duelists and its always worth it.

My Unfortunate Outdating.

Once I was at the tourney however both my cousin and I noticed a depressing fact about ourselves, we have been outdated! And I mean it on the most strict sense, the game has changed quiet a lot since the times when we used to play every week, and the utmost reason is...

THATS RIGHT!!! SYNCHRO!!!

Well since it had been a long time since my best duelist days(Which where like...3 or so years ago...I am 16 dont go thinking I am old XD) and the fact that I do not watch Yu-gi-oh! 5Ds I was very surprised at seeing the number of synchro cards that are now in play. It wasnt very fun to think that you have your opponent in a tight spot when they only have one teeny weak monster and you have two 5-star monsters on the field and they then just summon a tuner and change it into a Synchro Monster that just wipes out one of your dear monsters most of the time. This is even more annoying than having to face someone using Neos that use contact fuse giving you quiet a hard time when it comes to besting your opponent in attack power(No problem for my dragons though).

However I then thought about this "I have come from the times when you had to face against Egyptian God Cards, these things are nothing compared to that!" and its true, theyre not a big deal, just an average monster that has the annoying ability to be very easily summoned. I mostly use Generation X cards(GX), and the fact that my cyber dragons are one of the best monsters to increase attack ended up giving me the advantage most of the time. However my deck is highly incomplete so far...I am still missing many vital cards such as my terrible Chimeratech Overdragon and the Cyber Laser Dragon...I am currently trying to put the deck together again so that I can return full power and maybe participate in the next tourney hopefully getting far enough to justify my selling cards on Underworld!.

Technorati Publishing!

Okay everyone! We are happy to announce that we have claimed our blog in technorati already so that soon we will be able to appear as a search result in their blog-searching browser and attract even more visitors to this blog. On other sad news today this morning we had been taken down to the third blog with the most visits however thanks to the efforts of my forum friends(Thank you!!) we have once again climbed up to second place and soon to be first place.

Okay Technorati told me to put this in a new post and publish it, I dont know exactly how it works but here goes...

N4JFN365K4EW

I hope this thing works...otherwise we are going to get into a little bit of trouble...but that doesnt matter. By the way expect later today our first post of Trading Card Games, thats right you heard me! We arent going to be the Number One anime shop in my country someday without a reason
